3rd Annual Catalyst Sports Awards Celebrates SCA Athletes
On May 2, 2025, athletes and parents traded cleats for sneakers and gowns for glamour at Sherwood Christian Academy’s 3rd Annual Catalyst Sports Awards. Dressed to impress in their finest gala wear and favorite kicks, guests gathered to celebrate a year of unforgettable moments in SCA athletics.
Held in true red-carpet fashion, the evening began with photo ops and fun as guests struck their best poses before attending the awards show.
The evening featured a high-energy, heartfelt awards show hosted by SCA Athletic Director Jay Flynt and a team of lively emcees. They celebrated the biggest highlights of the 2024-2025 sports season and recognized the athletes who made it unforgettable. One of the night’s biggest hits was the giveaway of custom 1418 Nike shoes, which added a fun and memorable touch to the celebration.
Each award recipient took the stage to share words of gratitude, honoring the teammates, coaches, and families who supported them throughout the season. Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with an after-party full of fellowship, laughter, and tasty food truck favorites.
