We are a college preparatory school accredited by Cognia (formerly SACS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We challenge our students to achieve their full potential through excellent classroom instruction and rigorous academic standards. High schoolers take college credit courses to be prepared for the next level.
"Our daughter, an SCA alumna, was well-prepared for the demands of college life. The rigorous academics, fine arts, and athletics at SCA instilled in her essential time-management, leadership, and interpersonal skills, all of which translated smoothly into her experience at a much larger university."
"Our move from public school to Sherwood Christian Academy has been a gift to our entire family. Sherwood feels like family; our children are growing not only in knowledge, but in faith, confidence, and joy."
"SCA has shaped me the most in my pursuit of a set apart, biblical life. The most impactful moments are not only the weekly chapels or on-campus revivals, but also the small, humble moments like seeing a teacher pray for a student or watching the peer you’ve been praying for raise their hands during worship. God moments like these remind me of His absolute goodness and confirms I am exactly where the Lord wants me."
