We are thrilled to welcome Pastor Doug Eason as Sherwood Christian Academy’s Campus Pastor, beginning February 1.
Coach Eason has faithfully served in pastoral ministry for 31 years, most recently as Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Albany. In this new role, he will provide spiritual leadership across our campus overseeing chapel, leading discipleship efforts, cultivating spiritual engagement opportunities for our students and families, and caring for our school community with a true pastor’s heart.
Coach Eason will also continue serving as Head Football Coach, where he has already made an extraordinary impact. Under his leadership, the Eagles completed an undefeated season, captured a State Championship, and Doug was named GIAA 8-Man Coach of the Year. More importantly, he has consistently demonstrated a desire to point his players and coaches to Christ above all else.
