SCA STAFF SPOTLIGHT | Pastor & Coach Doug Eason

Sherwood Christian Academy is strengthened by the leadership of Doug Eason, who serves as Campus Pastor and Head Football Coach, through his investment in our students both spiritually and athletically.

“My role centers on developing students of character and integrity while strengthening their faith,” he explains. “As a coach, I lead a football program built on Christ, emphasizing discipline, excellence and purpose.”

In just a few short months as Campus Pastor, Coach Eason has already made a meaningful impact. He has led our Parent Partnership Series to equip families in discipleship, guided chapel services, mentored high school young men, and continued to shape the spiritual life of our campus.

Over the past three years as Head Football Coach, his leadership has produced remarkable success on the field, including a State Runner-Up finish and back to back State Championships.

We are thankful for his ministry and for the meaningful, lasting impact he is making in the lives of our students and families.
