Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented Distance Learning for K3-12th grades.
Learn more about the 8 Traits of a Professional Distance Learner we are instilling in our students.
Check out this video by our IT Director Vicki Davis on the 10 Tips for Education’s Overcomers, which is now syndicated on CMRubinWorld. Mrs. Davis explains how we do Distance Learning, using the word “overcomers.”
SCA families, media, and many outside of our school have taken note. Here are some things being said about SCA's transition to Distance Learning!
"We think DL is going great! My kids have adjusted to it so well; they’re loving it. They are each able to access their zoom classes and GC on their own devices, so they each spend the mornings separated in their own bedrooms. This allows them to have privacy, and their teachers have done a FANTASTIC job helping them past any technical difficulties. We’re amazed at the level of professionalism all the way across the board! We have said many schools and universities could take notes on the way SCA has handled it!"
"My family is adjusting with transitions at work and now this with the kids, but all is well! God’s grace is sufficient and we are grateful for the diligent efforts each of your staff are putting forth to make DL possible."
"(Distance Learning) is going great! No problems, and it has been easy for all of us to understand. (The kids) seriously have enjoyed it! Despite the bad circumstances, the slower pace of life right now has been a blessing to all of us. So far it’s worked excellent!"
"We are so thankful and blessed to be a part of SCA and the wonderful staff! Thank you for all of your hard work! You are amazing!"
