Volleyball

Volleyball

Our girls volleyball program plays in the Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools (GAPPS). Volleyball plays in the fall and has been very successful. Under Coach Bri Collins, a Sherwood graduate, our program is dedicated to competing with excellence with our middle school, JV, and Varsity rosters. Our volleyball program competes yearly for region, final four, and state championships. We compete in Varsity, JV, and Middle School, with Middle School being independent and not associated with any conference.

Our Coach

Briana Collins

Coach Briana Collins was born and raised in Albany, Ga. She is a 13-year graduate from SCA. She started playing volleyball in the 7th grade and never looked back. She went to the University of Mobile to play volleyball while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After that, she attended Valdosta State University to pursue a Master’s of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Because of her love for the game, she assembled a team to play intramural volleyball even while in graduate school. She moved back to Albany in 2020 to start her career with Georgia Federal State Inspection Service as their Human Resources Manager. She also started coaching with C-229, a local club volleyball program. She is humbled and excited to continue her coaching journey with SCA.
